THE LIGHT EFFECT

The light effect describes the dance between shadow and light of the sculptural roses that depends on the perspective of the viewer. The sculptures follow the viewer through the room. The sculptural roses are oriented towards the viewer depending on their position in the room.

„Powder Rose“ was sculptured and painted in September 2020. Some situations feel light and beautiful like powder.

„Withering Rose“ was sculptured and painted in late September 2020. Its inspired by an old rose bouquet and how beautiful things can grow old.

„Golden Hour“ was sculptured and painted in late Oktober 2020 and sold to a private collector. Its inspired by the sun and how it paints gold our ways before it sets.

„Withering Rose“ was sculptured and painted in late Oktober 2020. Its inspired by an old rose bouquet and how beautiful things can grow old.

„Man In Royal Blue“ was sculptured and painted in November 2020. Inspired by an old man who was dressed all in royal blue and even his car was the same color. I understood that age is just a state of mind and that you can be anything that you want to be, no matter how old you are.

„Piano“ was sculptured and painted in December 2020. Its all black but with the dance of light it shows white shades.

„Skin“ was sculptured and painted in January 2021. A silent dance of light across the surface of the skin and a gentle reminder that under the sun, we are all the same, regardless of the color of our skin. A work about humanity and the light that connects us.

„Sand And Sea“ was sculptured and painted in May 2021. It shows the beauty of the love between sand and sea. The sea forms the sand and I love to watch this dance. Both cant be without each other.

ROSENGOLD N°18

„Creation“ was sculptured and painted in May 2022. It is sold to the Steigenberger Icon Parkhotel in Düsseldorf and made for the presidential suite. This painting shows a rose in an eye and a tear going upwards. It was actually a very sad time because my grandad passed away. A very important person in my life and my biggest inspiration. He was loved by young and old for his poetic thinking and speeches.

„More Roads Lead to Rome“ was sculptured and painted in May 2022. It is sold to the Steigenberger Icon Parkhotel in Düsseldorf and made for the presidential suite.

„Melody Of Life“ or G is the Key was sculptured and painted in July 2022. To see things clear we pray to God. The bright colors shows clouds and the dark blue colors shows the infinity like universe in the form of G-key that stands for how the power of prayer can make things clear.

„Shooting Star“ was sculptured and painted in late February 2023. For the first time I saw a shooting star in the middle of the night. I felt like I was called to the window and looked up to see it and so I decided to frame it. The rose stands for beauty but weakness without her thorns.

„The Sweet Life“ was sculptured and painted in June 2023 and sold to Pastry Aidas Parkside in New York City. The ice-cream cone stands for New York and shows the city and the streets from above. The roses stands for the sweet life which is embraced in the Pastry.

ROSENGOLD N°1

„New Beginning“ The first painting was created in August 2020, sculpted and painted as a golden bouquet of roses. It marked a deeply personal new beginning: a new city, a new apartment, a new chapter in life. At a time when the world felt grey, shaped by historic events, I longed for golden moments. This work became the expression of that longing. I spent about a month working on it, until I felt: now it is complete. In that very moment, the name of the painting came to me clearly – as did the realization that it would not remain a single, standalone piece. During this process, I also developed a special sculpting compound that hardens after a few hours and takes on a stone-like quality.

„Small Things“ was sculptured and painted in September 2020 and sold to a private collector. Small things became more and more important to me especially the ideal value.

„When Time Stand Still“ was sculptured and painted in late September 2020. Inspired by moments that we never forget.

„Blizzard“ was sculptured and painted in late Oktober 2020. The nice thing about the blizzard is that they make us grateful when its over.

„Heart“ was sculptured and painted in November 2020. When we see everything with the heart it makes things easier. Its a deep connection to who we truly are.

„Pearls“ was sculptured and painted in December 2020. Real pearls are very special to me. When I look at them, I think about how deep you have to dive into the ocean to find them. And above all, you have to have the ability to do it. Real pearls also inspired me to write my song „Seashell“.

„Everything Is Love“ was sculptured and painted in January 2021. When we see things with love everything changes and the perspective.

„Camouflage“ was sculptured and painted in August 2021. Sometimes we protect ourselves from the negative by putting make-up on the things we don’t want to show in order to protect ourselves.

„Snowman In The Sun“ was sculptured and painted in December 2021. Painful times happen to form us to become who we truly are.

ROSENGOLD N°21

„The Dream“ was sculptured and painted in April 2022. In my dream I saw this painting. It was leaning against my window with heavily distorted roses. The painting from my dream was so different from any other painting I’ve ever painted that I got up and painted it.

„Where Is My Mind?“ was sculptured and painted in December 2022. It shows a portrait of me at a time when I didn’t see things so clearly because of fears. The black rose hides me and the thorns stands for the areas of my life that were affected by my fears in this time.

„Golden Gate“ was sculptured and painted in summer 2023. It stands for healing. A golden date palm with seven dates and seven leaves, with one of the leaves illuminating the water parallel to the moon and its unclear to whom the light belongs.

„Stardust“ was completed in March 2025 and is the first painting in the golden ratio. I worked on this painting for a long time. A painting that immortalises my gratitude to the Almighty.
